Development trends and innovations in higher education

On January 28, 2025, an information event on “Development trends and Innovations in Higher Education” was held at the Kyrgyz National University after name Jusup Balasagyn, organized by the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs and Organizations (AAEPO) with the participation of representatives of higher educational institutions. Information about the activities of the AAEPO, as well as presentations on the topic, were presented at this event.:

• “Changes in the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on accreditation”;
• “Minimum requirements for accredited educational programs for the preparation of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)/doctors by profile";
• “Development trends and innovations in higher education”

After the presentations of the speakers, it became clear that today universities of the Kyrgyz Republic need to significantly strengthen their efforts to create conditions for the implementation of research results in production, the development of new technologies and industrial products. Cooperation between our universities and business is not as active as in developed countries. Therefore, it is necessary to use this reserve to improve the quality of higher education. All this means the transition to university 3.0.

The accreditation process has a significant impact on improving the quality and competitiveness of our universities and contributes to their entry into the global higher education market.
