Agencies for Accreditation of Educational Programs and Organizations (AAEPO) on the results of independent accreditation

for the first half of 2022

In 2021, the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs and Organizations was recognized by the National Accreditation Council under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic for a second term from 09/27/2021 to 09/27/2026 as an accreditation agency in accordance with the "Procedure for recognition of accreditation agencies in the field of education", approved by the decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 09/29/2015 No. 670 and the order of the Ministry of Education and Science No. 1595/1 of 27.09.2021

In accordance with the criteria of the Accreditation Recognition Program by the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME), the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs and Organizations (AAEPO) received recognition status until March 31, 2032.

The Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs and Organizations (AAEPO) successfully carried out all the procedures planned for the first half of 2022 for the accreditation of educational programs and educational institutions.

In total, 32 independent accreditation procedures were carried out, including program accreditation of 14 educational institutions (EU) of higher professional education, 13 educational institutions of secondary vocational education, 1 EU of primary vocational education, as well as 4 EU of basic and secondary general education

according to 82 educational programs (PhD, HPE, SPO, NGO, SOSH) and institutional accreditation of 11 educational institutions of higher, secondary vocational education, as well as primary, basic and secondary general education (see the following list of EU by half-year 2022):

The list of educational institutions and educational programs accredited tentatively for 1 year and for 3 years with the request to eliminate the shortcomings specified in the recommendations of the expert commission

Along with the implementation of program and institutional accreditation by the AAEPO, measures were carried out for post-accreditation monitoring of  EU based on the results of the procedures of the 2020/2021 academic years.

In addition to the accreditation procedures carried out, at the meeting of the Accreditation Council at JSC PO dated 10.06.2022, it was decided to extend the conditional institutional accreditation of Kochkor-Ata College (extension of conditional accreditation) for 4 years.

Information about international accreditation

In the period from May 23 to June 6, 2022, the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs and Organizations (AAOPO) conducted international program and institutional accreditation of the following 4 medical universities:

1. Institution "Salymbekov University" (international institutional accreditation);

2. Tentishev Satkynbai Memorial Asian Medical Institute (international program and institutional accreditation);

3. International Medical University (international program and institutional accreditation);

4. Eurasian International Medical University (international program accreditation).

During the international accreditation, leading international experts from Turkey, the USA, Germany, India, Spain were involved as experts.
