With the main report "Overview of international accreditation systems. Methods of ensuring the quality of engineering education" was delivered by the Vice-President of the European Network for Accreditation in the Field of Engineering Education ENAEE Zh. Quadrado.
With particular interest, the conference participants discussed the presentation of D.K. Suleev, Doctor of Technical Sciences, President of the Central Asian Federation of Engineering Education Communities, "Problems and prospects for the implementation of the Khujand Agreement in Central Asia"
Presentations by representatives of accreditation agencies of the countries of the Central Asian region: the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan with an analysis of the experience of independent accreditation demonstrated the emerging conditions for integration in the field of engineering education.
This is first of all:
* the possibility of creating a common database of experts;
* availability of framework standards synchronized with the national legislations of the countries of the region;
* common language environment;
* the right to issue the EUR-ACE Label quality mark among the 17 leading Accreditation Agencies in Europe.
The Conference decided to expand the scope of its presence in the Central Asian region. Preserving the ideology of the Khujand Agreement, the list of participants in the process is significantly expanding. These are primarily various institutions engaged in accreditation, business structures, etc.
Thus, a powerful breakthrough has been made in the integration of the educational space of Central Asia, a good potential has been created for the joint participation of Central Asian universities on the basis of the Central Asian Federation of Engineering Education Communities in international projects of the European Union.
