Program accreditation
Program accreditation is a procedure for assessing the level of quality of educational programs in order to recognize their conformity with the requirements and criteria established not less than the requirements of the state educational standards.
Program accreditation is the accreditation of the specific program (or a group of related programs), with a focus on curriculum, teaching and training programs, as well as, consideration of the general issues of organization, but only to the extent that they affect the implementation of specific ( -s) program (s).
In Kyrgyzstan, there is one type of program accreditation which is established by law, the successful completion of which gives the right to an educational organization to issue documents of state or private sample.
Minimum requirements for educational organizations and programs (framework evaluation standards) approved by Kyrgyz Government, may be used for institutional accreditation and program accreditation.
