We are pleased to announce that the Agency for Accreditation of educational programs and organizations (AAOPO) has become a member of The Asia-Pacific Higher Education Quality Assurance Network.
The Asia-Pacific higher education quality assurance network (TheAsiaPacificQualityNetwork – APQN) is a worldwide Association of about 300 organizations dedicated to the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education.
Founded in 2003, the Asia-Pacific quality network (APQN) is a non-governmental and non-profit network that aims to "Improve the quality of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region" and "Dissolve borders for a quality region"."
After 16 years of development, APQN has 222 members from 41 countries and territories and is becoming the largest and most influential international higher education organization in the region. APQN has played a crucial and unique role in improving the quality assurance mechanism, sharing experience in theory and practice, promoting substantive collaboration, establishing a consulting Bank, and verifying the Asia-Pacific quality register (APQR) and the Asia-Pacific quality mark (APQL) in this area.
Membership will allow AOPA to further expand cooperation with other agencies for quality assurance in different parts of the world.
