From June 17 to 19, at the Headquarters of the Order of Engineers in Lisbon, Director of the AAEPO Baktybek Ismailov took part in the first ever summit of ENAEE - European accreditation agencies. This landmark event, organized by ENAEE in collaboration with the Order of Engineers, brought together the heads of ENAEE member agencies for a meaningful discussion on the development of engineering education, vocational training and professional accreditation.

The opening session was presented by the President of the Order of Engineers, Fernando de Almeida Santos, the Vice-President of the Order of Engineers, Lídia Santiago, and the President of ENAEE, José Carlos Quadrado.

A highlight of the event was ENAEE’s presentation of awards to two agencies, CTI (France) received by President Elisabeth Crepon and CAAAE (Kazakhstan) received by President Abdumutalip Abzhapparov, recognising their exceptional efforts in promoting the prestigious EUR-ACE seal to accredited engineering courses. This acknowledgment underscores the importance of maintaining high standards in engineering education across Europe.

This first edition of the ENAEE – European Accreditation Agencies’ Summit marked a significant step forward in the mission to elevate engineering education and ensure that future engineers are well-equipped to meet the demands of modern society.
